News Crew Winner

This was a fun article to read, and so refreshing because they're usually kind of bland. I mean, they're all unique, but this one is more different than the others I guess. 

However I feel like I must point this out: The person didn't use proper punctuation and forgot to capitalize their "Is". Sorry!

Anyways, here's my failed entry (which I'm happy didn't win because it was pretty bad).

News Crew – Shark Awareness

Hey Jammers! Have you ever wondered what it’s like in the lowest point of Jamaa: The Deep Blue? Well, I was wondering the same thing, so I took a trip down there to visit some of my shark buddies and ask them a couple questions about their lives as sharks in the deep depths of the ocean. Here are some of the questions I asked them:

Lieutenant Vonflower: What is your favourite thing in the Deep Blue?

Captain Vonbrave: I think I would have to say all of the amazing creatures! Some of them are a little odd looking I’ll admit, such as the Gulper Eel.

Duchess Sillybird: I love playing games with my buddies here, especially hide-and-seek. There are so many cool hiding places!

Lieutenant Vonflower: Some jammers stay away from the Deep Blue because they think sharks are mean or bullies, what do you say to that?

Captain Vonbrave: We certainly are not! Maybe it’s just our big teeth…

Duchess Sillybird: I agree with Admiral, we’re really nice if you get to know us. And I play a killer game of Four Gem!

Lieutenant Vonflower: Well, I think you guys are really kind jammers for the record. And finally we have our last question. Is it true that sharks don’t sleep?

Captain Vonbrave: Haha, well, we do sleep. But sometimes with only half our brain!

Daredevil Glamstar: We are essentially asleep, but some parts of our brain are still alert. Pretty pawsome, right?

Lieutenant Vonflower: It certainly is! Thanks for talking to me today Duchess and Captain, and don’t forget to JAM ON!

Traders VS. Regular Jammers

!Disclaimer! This is just my own personal experience, being both a "Trader" and an "Aldanite", as well as recently just a "Regular Jammer". 

By my definition, and instead of calling them "Jammers Who Don't Trade", I will call them "Regular Jammers" because it's just easier. I meant no offense calling anybody "Regular". If your personal experience of being either a Trader or a Regular Jammer has been or is different, please don't go crazy on me :)

The first difference between a Trader and a Regular Jammer is their Dens:

This is a regular Jammer's den. Notice how it doesn't really have many den betas in it, and is very homely, much like a modern house (excluding the ice mirror and the gigantic edible furniture).

This is the Trader's den. Notice the good deal of den betas as well as the flooring. It's still very well furnished, but may have a slightly more ethereal feel to it.

The second difference is how they make their looks.

The regular jammer will probably make the outfit that suits the animal, the character, or the vibe the best.

I've noticed that Traders tend to like to show off their rares, sometimes they will picks a colour scheme like this one (red), or they'll just put all of their rares on one look (ew).

The next difference is in the buddy system. The trader jammers will probably have a buddy list somewhat like this, because they buddy people who are either rare or you have previously traded with. A small portion will probably be your friends though, because AJ is just boring without them.

A regular Jammer would probably only buddy their friends, so their buddy list might look like this:

I'm way too tired to continue this list right now, so I'm just going to leave it at that. I also just realized that I probably just offended a bunch of people, another reason why I will stop.

My First Masterpiece

I finally did what I said I was going to do ever since the masterpiece update came out!!!

Yes, that is a bird, an yes, it sucks. Please don't judge me  ^_^

Aparri VS. Julian2 Controversy

I'm back! How was Jamaa friends?

Now I realize that this is an old rivalry is probably over by the time I've gotten to it, but these are the things that interest me. 

Also, I'm going to try not to hate on any one person in this... situation, because I'm not them, and they aren't me. I know it says in the "a bit about me" section that I am a proud Julian2 bean, but that fact will stay redundant for this post.

Here's a little backstory on this issue:

Julian recently posted a picture with an amazingly long caption on Instagram. He has since deleted the post, but his main points were about how Aparri has been copying both him and WisteriaMoon in the content that he puts out. He also said that Aparri constantly uses click bait in his videos and rips off Wisteria's thumbnails constantly. 

Here is an excerpt o his post.

I'm very happy that Julian didn't talk trash about Aparri, mostly because it would've brought on a whole lot more of a mountain of hate for him. 

I'm honestly kind of tired of all of this drama in the Animl Jam community. Julian is trying to make interesting videos, Aparri is trying to make videos. Why can't they let each other create the videos that they want to create?

However the points that Julian raised in his post intrigued me, so I took two videos; an Aparri one:

Then, I compared them side-by-side to discover all of the differences and similarities between the two videos.

First, we have the actual list itself:

The first thing I notice when comparing these two lists is that Julian's list is much much longer. I have to give him credit for that because he spent a lot of time coming up with those things. However I think in overall accuracy, the medal would have to go to Aparri. Julian's "spike outfits" definitely hit the mark though. The only one I see repeated was the "must show off rares look"

Also, when I watch these two together, I definitely notice that Aparri is more relaxed with his audience, talking about whatever comes to his mind, while Julian's video is clearly scripted and enunciated.

I think that Aparri sort of throws together some of his videos and does an incredible amount of work on others, making me have to sort of sift through his account to find the good content, which Julian points out in his Instagram post. So that point is definitely true for me. 

I also sort of have a problem with the Aparri fan girls, more so that they're kind of annoying and I don't usually go down into the comments section because of them. 

Overall, I don't really hate either of them, they just are what they are, of course, I'll always be a proud Julian2 bean, but I'm not sure if I'll ever subscribe back to Aparri, not that I have any reason not to.
