(If you don't want to read a super boring post, then please skip this one, but it explains a few things).
Yes, I have been a bit of a lousy blog poster/owner person for the last very long while. I completely understand that, and I'm really sorry.
I've been so super busy with school, and especially with volleyball, because even when I'm not in practice, I"m either watching my sister's game or practicing on my own. Volleyball is pretty much my life, and it's been eating up all of the spare time that I'm not using for homework.
Now that we have that stuff out of the way, I'd like to explain my situation a little bit here:
So I read a lot of blogs, a few of which I have on the right side of my blog. I read these blogs and enjoy them a lot, they post great content that's engaging and interesting, especially the Animal Jam Whip. However, what I've noticed is that every one of these blogs is sort of the same format. You introduce yourself, then you tell your readers about something cool and interesting about AJ: A fashion contest, a story they're writing, or maybe a cool little easter egg..
Now I enjoy reading those posts, don't get me wrong, but I feel like if I model my posts after what they do, it'll all just be really boring and bland because I feel like I'm just copying someone else's idea, as well as adding to my already huge pile of self loathing.
I try to start my posts by getting straight to the point; except that doesn't work, because it just comes off as boring and unprofessional. Then I try to post content that's interesting for me such as that Major story I started in the last post. The problem with that is the stuff that interests me is not the stuff that interests everyone else. The stuff that I love posting lacks substance and jumps from place to place.
I think now I have to make a decision: what do I think is best to do?
I answered this by coming to this:
I will post once a week, with clearly thought out, interesting content for people to enjoy. If I feel like posting something without any reason, I have to stop, think, and then decide whether or not it's worth posting.
Actually, I think this IS worth posting:
EEEKKK! I got featured on the Daily Explorer!!!
Finally! I just need to collect two more plaques and I will have my DE plaques in the bag!

Thanks for reading all of my random thoughts XD
See ya later, alligator!
